11/24/09 by zms0321: "Terrible!!!"

Pros: can't think of one thing

Cons: uncomfortable, dangerous, blurry vision

Has been wearing Air Optix for Astigmatism: 1 Year, 7 days/week, 12 hours/day

Replaces contacts every: 1 Month

I've been a contact wearer for 11 years and have never had a problem with lenses. About a year ago my eye dr. was all excited about these new lenses since they "supposedly" allow for more oxygen to pass through the lens. I've always worn my lenses 7 days a week all day and I am always good about lens hygiene. Ever since I've gotten these lenses I've had to go back to wearing glasses all day and only wearing contacts for activities like going to the gym, where I hate wearing glasses. My eyes always feel irritated with these lenses and after about 2 hours my eyes are ridiculously blood shot. My dr. originally gave me drops and said he thought I had a small infection unrelated to contact wearing, but everytime I try wearing these lenses the same thing happens. My sister recently switched to these as well and she suddenly came down with an ulcerated cornea! She saw a new dr, who advised her against these lenses as he has had many complaints about the Optix lenses. I've given up trying with these lenses and begged my dr. for my old script!

7/10/09 by solong: "Amazing"

Pros: Comfortable, easy to put in

Cons: Moments of blurriness

Has been wearing Air Optix for Astigmatism: 1 Month, 5 days/week, 14 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: Opti-Free

Replaces contacts every: 1 Month

This is my first time wearing contacts, but these contacts are definitely excellent. I was afraid to get contacts at first, because I've heard people complain about dry/itchy eyes, but with this brand, you don't have to worry about that. When I'm wearing them, I forget that they're on my eyes. I never really have to use eye droplets. I definitely recommend these. Yes, there are slight moments of blurriness, but that's because the lenses have to readjust for the astigmatism.

4/12/09 by blake: "great"

Pros: precise vision, great feel

Cons: pricey for my RX

Has been wearing Air Optix for Astigmatism: 2 Years, 7 days/week, 12 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: generic walgreens solution

Replaces contacts every: 1 Month

these contacts are great. for all of you who write reviews stating that you have not had contacts before, and arent impressed by these, you should try some of the other brands out there. this is great new technology and they truely dont seem to be in my eyes when they are. very easy to put and keep in my eyes. these contacts let up to 6x more oxygen into your eyes creating a longer more comfortable wear. these lenses will induce a healthier, whiter eye. buy these contacts!

12/22/08 by tanalee: "very pleased"

Pros: easy to handle, great oxygen

Cons: a little blury

Has been wearing Air Optix for Astigmatism: 1 Month, 7 days/week, 10 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: opti free replenish

Replaces contacts every: 1 Month

I am new to contacts. My Doctor gave me these because of the oxygen that gets to your eye. I can't even feel them in my eye. I do see a bit blurry sometime but that might be due to the fact that I should use drops more frequently, or just have to get used to contacts. I decided to order these after asking the Doctor for something to compare it to (to make sure the Air Optix Aqua were right for me). She gave me the Acuvue Oasys. They felt great, but tore after I put in for the 6th day. I wrote a review on those too. I decided to stay with these becuase they are new technology and felt really good. I had the Doctor recheck my Rx to make sure the bluriness is ok. She said it was and so I just have to get used to the adjustment period of wearing contacts.

12/12/08 by first time contact user: "1st pair of contacts"

Pros: breathable

Cons: blurry

Has been wearing Air Optix for Astigmatism: 1 Month, 7 days/week, 10 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: opti free replenish

Replaces contacts every: 1 Month

This is my 1st paif of contacts so I don't know what I'm supposed to expect. I am seeing things blurry and a little cloudy so it makes me wonder if the Rx is correct or if it's the contact? These are supposed to be the best of the best so I may want to sample a different pair to have something to compare it too. I can see good with the lens at a far, but I keep getting blurry and cloudy spots very frequently throughout the day. Not sure just yet....

Cons: blurry vision

These are my first pair of contacts so I don't have alot of experience but I'm pretty sure they aren't suppose to make your vision worse. I haven't been able to get the "I can't feel them" feeling either. Not impressed.
