Pros: add a nice sparkle to your natural eye color

I ordered these contacts because I was looking to not change my natural eye color, but enhance it. I was a little apprehensive after I had already ordered them and then read other people's reviews. I think that they are definitely not as comfortable as other contacts that I have worn. One thing I have noticed is that I have clear vision in the day light when my pupils are smaller, but when I am indoors, my vision gets blurry because my pupils get larger and I start to see the colored parts of the lense. It really does enhance my blue eyes and adds a nice shimmer to them though. So, I feel they are good for short term use, but not so much as an everyday lense.

I'm fairly new to contacts. I use Purevisions as my main, uncolored go to brand. As silly as it sounds, I got fitted for contacts just for these lenses, well that and my son just hit the destructo age. I was so excited about these and when they came in the mail I could hardly wait to get them in. I got the Eden. They're flimsy, too soft, hard to get into your eye and when they're in they slide... and people can tell they're there because they can see the shaded ring come away from your iris when you're eyes move. I was initially a little taken aback at them in the package, I could barely see the shimmer and mostly they enhanced the dark ring around my iris. I wore them for 2 hours and took them out. Luckily or unluckily, they come out super easy. Unfortunatly, because I bought online, I've got a whole box for each eye so... I have 6 pair of them now, so I supposed I'll have to tough it out. I have grey/green eyes so I will give the moonlight a try, but I'm only going to purchase one pair from my eye doctor. I'm not hopeful. So far my experience with contacts hasn't been a great one, mostly due to these uncomfortable things.

These contacts are nice. To those expecting a color or drastic change, these aren't for you. These contacts are only meant to mainly enhance or brighten your eyes by giving it shimmer. I have dark brown eyes and the SUNRISE works well. I also have the AUTUMN which I have yet to try. I wear the COLORBLENDS when I feel a color change...HONEY, BROWN, and PURE HAZEL works well for me. Even though they dry easily, at least it doesn't hurt when it does...I have disposable non-color dailies of another brand, and they hurt when they're dry.

I have been wearing contacts for years and I have never worn contacts as uncomfortable as these. I spend a lot of money on them and it has been a complete waste. I have blue eyes, so they are fairly easy to accentuate or change, but these contacts did nothing for my eyes. I tried both the moonlight and eden, no difference at all in my color. This wouldn't have been such a waste of money if I could actually WEAR them, but I can't. I can't even see out of them because they fit so poorly. My base and diameter is correct with these lenses, but for some reason they float on top of my eye and shift around so of course I can feel them sliming around my eye every time I blink or move my eye. Plus I can't SEE out of them and that is the point of my wearing contacts so they are pretty much useless.

I originally tried eden on my dark brown eyes. It added a very slight sparkle of green, I didn't have too many people notice only when I would tell them to look close. I remember they felt annoying at first but then I got used to them and wore them for 6 months. I now bought sunrise which is only recommended for dark eyes and they do add gold shimmer. Still, not very noticeable, but I can tell, so I guess that is all that matters. But they are not comfortable, I have been wearing them for four days and they hurt my eyes, I have no idea why but these are way worse than the eden. I put some non-colored "aqualite 55" in and had no problem, so I am sure it is these lenses. I guess I would only recommend them if your dia is 14.2 or above and don't expect them to fit right because the pupil hole never is right on, but like I said no one noticed.

Cons: HAVE TO KEEP THEM CLEAN

EVERYBODY TELLS ME HOW THEY LIKE THE COLOR OF MY EYES AND THAT I HAVE DIFFERENT COLORS AND MOST OF THE COLORS HAVE TO MATCH MY CLOTHES. THE THING THAT I DON'T LIKE IS THAT I CAN'T GET TO WEAR THEM TO BED.
