2/09/10 by Jenny: "Completely dissatisfied"

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Uncomfortable

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 1 Year, 6 days/week, 13 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: Complete

Replaces contacts every: 30 Days

These lenses are very thick, and I can feel them all the time in my eyes as opposed to the regular toric lens from B & L. Almost all the time I have blurred vision because my eyes are drying very fast when I am wearing them. I had read all the good reviews about it, looks like this won't work for me.

12/10/08 by Paul: "These are awesome!"

Pros: Comfort, durability, ease of installation

Cons: Not great for reading up close, difficult to remove

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 1 Month, 7 days/week, 16 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: CVS Multi-Purpose

Replaces contacts every: 14 Days

I switched to these from Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism and haven't looked back. They are super comfortable, durable, easy to apply and provide great long distance vision. On the down side, if you're middle aged like me you'll need reading glasses for anything up close because they are thick and impede eye adjustment. Still, it's a worthwhile tradeoff for the comfort. I leave them in all day without any issues and I'm going to try leaving them in for 24 hours straight as some other users have done.

7/24/08 by nir: "Despite good reviews, these were awful!"

Pros: none

Cons: severe headaches, stiff contacts

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 1 Year, 7 days/week, 10 hours/day

Replaces contacts every: 1 Month

I would put these contacts in and within an hour I would have a huge headache near my eyes. It was the sort of headache that I would sometimes get if I fell asleep with contacts in. Even though most people give this product a great review, I have to disagree. They did not work at all for me.

5/13/08 by Nancy: "Bad Contacts"

Pros: Good Review for Contacts

Cons: The lenses it self

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 3 Years, 3 days/week, 11 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: Opti-Free

Replaces contacts every: 3 Days

I currently am using trials, and so for its been 3 days and they have made my eyes; Irritated, Discomfort feeling, very itcy especially my right eye, a little dryness and blurr vision. I don't know if I would recommend these lenses because they are not for me. I also would not reccomend the bausch and lomb renew solution, that thing burned my eye...

4/29/08 by Outback: "PureVision"

Pros: Really good at correcting astigmatism

Cons: Can dry a bit on a windy day

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 3 Months, 5 days/week, 8 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: renu

Replaces contacts every: 1 Month

PureVision Toric is very good at proper correction of astigmatism for a soft lens. PurveVision Toric is 10-times better at correcting astigmatism compared to Acuvue Advanced for Astigmatism lenses. While nothing compares to the crispness of regular eyeglasses, I do think PureVision Torics come real close and are provide pretty crisp vision. No complaints, PureVision works good.

I have just switched from another terrible toric lens. What a difference this is with comfort and vision. I have no complaints at all. They don't even dry out after wearing them all day! I would recommend this lens to everyone.

1/11/08 by mike.spry: "excellent lenses"

Pros: very comfortable, robust/not fragile

Cons: none for me

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 9 Months, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: clear care / opti fee replenish

Replaces contacts every: 28 Days

ive had astigmatism for 10 yrs now and only recently did i switch to contacts. tried about 6 different designs and finally settled on these. they can be deceiving at first as it takes a couple days to get used to but wow are they awesome for long term use. silicone hydrogel lenses are the way to go! my doc gave me these at first and after going through 5 other types i went back to these! only soflens66 felt more comfortable at insertion, but like with any other pair they started feeling uncomfortable after 4hrs. purevision lenses are just comfortable all day! dont expect miracles though, like with any other lenses, if you expose your eyes to windy conditions they will dry up. after all water does evaporate, cant defy physics... i started off only wearing them 12 hours a day but not wear them 3-7 days at a time. in the morning i sometimes need a drop or two of drops but other than that they're low maintenance. for some reason if i use anything other than clear care or optifree replenish they start feeling stiff so be very careful what you use for cleaning. i tried acuvue advance astigmatism but they were junk...too thin and fragile and dried up to quickly BUT if purevisions are too tight, acuvues might be the way to go... as always talk with your doc and dont settle! try as many lenses as it takes as all eyes are different.

Pros: see first review by kvan

Cons: see first review by kvan

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 2 Months, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: Saline for Sensitive Eyes

Replaces contacts every: 30 Months

To clarify: I tried Frequency 55 lenses before, not Focus 55 (no such thing). Also, I have only been wearing these for about 45-50 days (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).

1/02/08 by kvan: "100% Awesome!"

Pros: extremely comfortable & convenient, no dryness or blurriness

Cons: vision not perfect, but just better as other contacts

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 2 Years, 7 days/week, 24 hours/day

Replaces contacts every: 30 Days

I tried Focus 55 and hated them. I wore SofLens 66 for about 18 months. I hated them, too, but I just assumed that protein deposits, dry and red eyes, and discomfort after 6 hours of wear were normal side effects of wearing contacts. I couldn't see that well with them, either, and walking through the "big box" stores or riding my bicycle with contacts on was out of the question. Until now. What AMAZING contacts! I was hesitant to wear them 24/7 initially, but when I took them out, I a) missed the way I could see with them and immediately wanted them back in my eyes; and b) found it was harder to "get used" to them when I'd put them back in. Now all I do is squirt saline in my eyes when I wake up and after my shower. I don't even take them out to rinse, unless I got something on them. Found that not taking them out at all works better for long-term comfort. No redness or dry eye (and I have sensitive eyes). I forget they're in. I ride my bike with them, I shop at Target and don't have to shield my eyes...I'm in LOVE with these contacts. Also tried Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism trial pair. They seemed same as SofLens 66 (i.e., blurry, bad vision, deposits, dry). These are slightly thicker, but I don't feel them in my eye, and I think it makes them more stable, so I don't have to deal with the "blink, focus, blink, focus" thing that other torics do. Hooray for PureVision. I am ecstatic about these things. They're FANTASTIC!

1/26/07 by Blind No More: "Best vision I've ever had with lenses!"

Pros: Confortable, I can see with astigmatism

Cons: Expensive comapred to my old lenses..

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 1 Month, 7 days/week, 10 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: Aquify

Replaces contacts every: 30 Days

These lenses are wonderful. I have astigmatism and I could never see perfectly with reg. lenses. I can now read street signs and things without a problem. They are very comfortable too considering they are a slightly thicker lense then I had previously.

1/17/07 by ppppp: "They're ok, just thick "

Pros: mmm...i dont know

Cons: thick and uncomfortable

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 1 Month, 2 days/week, 8 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: aquify

Replaces contacts every: 14 Days

I have tight lids (very little space between my eyeball and my eyelid). These contacts are extremely thick, so for someone with tight lids i can feel them constantly in my eye, and when I blink I can feel them even more. I suffer from dry eye so I thought these would work for me, but from the first moment I put them in I can feel them and they are too uncomfortable. Also, because they are so thick sometimes they twist in my eye and stay that way so my vision is blurred.

3/07/06 by ditrodmi: "Super comfortable, super convenient"

Pros: No dryness, can leave in overnight

Cons: None

Has been wearing Purevision Toric: 1 Month, 6 days/week, 12 hours/day

Cleaning solution used: ReNu

Replaces contacts every: 30 Days

These lenses are the best. After trying four pairs of trial lenses, I was beginning to think that I could never wear contacts. Until I found these. The dryness is gone, the lens awareness (feels like an eyelash is constantly trapped inside your eye) is gone and if I don't feel like taking them out in the evening I just leave them in and sleep in them. Brilliant!
